Our Mission
Halo Behavioral Health provides a safe and respectful, judgement-free environment. We deliver high quality, evidence-based services to diverse clinical populations. Cultural competency is utilized as the primary factor for effective & positive interaction, communication,
and collaboration with clients, their families, loved ones, and other treatment team professionals.
-PROGRAMS-
Individual/Group Sessions
Individualized treatment plans are carefully designed and utilized to ensure that our client's mental and behavioral health needs are being met. Assessments are performed weekly for optimum results. Individual/Group sessions generally range between 45 - 60 minutes.
Both "in person" and virtual
sessions are offered.
Energy Psychology
Bioenergy - is defined as the energetic relationships present in human beings -
linking systems of behavior, thought, emotions, and sensations. Research has confirmed hypnotherapy to be an effective bioenergetic treatment modality. Reported therapeutic benefits include -reduced symptoms related to anxiety and/or depression, increased feelings of self-mastery, clearing of negative emotions, improved inner peace & balance, and enhanced overall well-being.
Adult Services
Aging is a natural process that may present challenges for some individuals and their families. Two of the primary reasons seniors do not seek mental health services/treatment are unavailability and transportation. We attempt to address these practical barriers by bringing our services to the client. Although many older adults look forward to moving from middle age into their later years, it may be difficult for others to adjust. While some adults may approach their "Golden Years" eagerly, anticipating retirement, grandchildren, or simply a new phase of life, others may dread the physical and mental effects of aging. We can provide therapeutic assistance to help clients and their families cope with these challenges.
Family Therapy & Education
Family therapy can provide lasting benefits, and may include all family members or just those willing to participate. It is often short term. These sessions seek to assist families in developing the skills necessary for improved communication, conflict resolution, deepened family connections, and effectively work through stressful situations. Specific treatment depends on your family's therapeutic goals.
Clinical Collaboration
It is important for all mental health providers to be well connected to, and collaboratively engaged, with multidisciplinary networks to ensure the most effective and integrated treatment. Clients are best served by utilizing this shared perspective and responsibility. This collaborative approach helps to ensure
that all client's mental health needs are being met, creates better continuity of care, and ensures therapeutic progress toward established treatment goals.
S.B.I.R.T Screening
Brief Intervention
& Referral for Treatment (if required)
Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral for Treatment (SBIRT) is an evidence-based approach for identifying patients who use alcohol and other substances at increased levels of risk, with the goal of reducing and preventing related health consequences, diseases, accidents and injuries. SBIRT is designed to identify an individual who has an alcohol and/or substance use disorder or is at risk for developing one by evaluating responses to questions about alcohol and/or other substance use.
